And now some mutterings of my own.....
Sprained my ankle on the 17th. Still have days of swelling and painfullness. Hopefully it will be better by the time school starts because if it isn't I will be living on Tylenol, with all the standing I do.

There hasn't been any pictures on this blog for a while for good reason. The camera batteries or charger bit the big one. Bought some regular batteries but don't know what to take a picture of anyways....

Not much happening in the crafty stuff. I am "planning" my next prodject though. Found a really pretty kimono sweater thingy that I would love to make (knit). Just trying to figure out what color, what yarn, etc...

Summer 2007 - Week #3

Crocheted 11 dishcloths this week.

I even designed a pattern of my own. They are the top row, second one, and second row, last one.

It's going to start getting too busy at the store to crochet but I must admit, even after making all these dishcloths, I am totally obsessed. Now I am looking at every dishcloth pattern on the net and every pattern book I can get my hands on.

As you can tell, I was crazy for circles this week.

Crochet!

For Father's Day I made The Man a crocheted rug. I used all my left over cotton from all the dishcloths I've been making. I used my favorite "woven" stitch and held two strands of the cotton together. I love all the color combinations!

I'm saving up my left overs again because I want one for myself!

Fireworks Related....

One of my kids at school, with the help of his mom, made this special gift for me. The quote made me cry, considering how low my self esteem is these days, and then the fireworks in the background just left me speechless!

What a thoughtful treasure!












When you have to sit at a fireworks store for 5 weeks out of your summer you get.....kinda bored.....especially cause she won't learn to knit or crochet.....so she plays in the rain!
