Wherever I go I must take along a book and a crochet or knitting project. You never know when you can fit in a few pages or a few rows.
I have several portable works-in-progress right now.
In my wonderful and favorite green Lala bag my sister gave me, I have a purple fuzzy scarf I am knitting for my friend's 40th birthday coming up.
In a plain old plastic bag I have crocheted squares for my bookclub's charity baby afghan.
In a plastic tote I have a crocheted poncho for my 3 year old neice, Ella.
And I am carrying around the book Night by Elie Weizel, after finishing Blue Dahlia by Nora Roberts last night.
Wow! I can't believe tomorrow will be February already. I have read only one book so far in 2006. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for visiting my blog Amy. I did have a bit of a panic about my Archives, but they are there, right down at the bottom of the page!!
I thought I had a big handbag that carried everything but the kitchen sink, but I have to say I think you top mine.
P.s I love the baby crochet blanket you did for a friend, so cute.
