The Year of the Afghan

2007 was the year of the dishcloth. Over 100 of them to be exact. They were fun to make and helped to fill the time, especially at the firework's store when my mind was off in so many places.

This year is probably gonna be the year of the afghan. This first one is for me, my livingroom. It's to snuggle under and keep me warm when I am watching a dvd in my sexless, manless life. Hehe! That sounds depressing!

It looks kinda red, white, and blue on my computer...it isn't. It's burgundy, gray, and navy blue. It's out of I Love This Yarn, and I actually do love this yarn! It's becoming my new yarn crack!

The next afghan will be for Phoebe's upcoming offspring. Can't wait to get started on that one!

Well today is my wedding anniversary. It would have been 19 years..........I'm not feeling sad or anything........The Man really wants me to come back..........but I feel it was my best decision to leave when I did......you can't change people and he really didn't like me!

The Chickies got together Monday night! It was fun as usual, and I was glad to hang out with the girls.

Sprained my ankle on the 17th. Still have days of swelling and painfullness. Hopefully it will be better by the time school starts because if it isn't I will be living on Tylenol, with all the standing I do.

There hasn't been any pictures on this blog for a while for good reason. The camera batteries or charger bit the big one. Bought some regular batteries but don't know what to take a picture of anyways....

Not much happening in the crafty stuff. I am "planning" my next prodject though. Found a really pretty kimono sweater thingy that I would love to make (knit). Just trying to figure out what color, what yarn, etc...
